If you currently or previously lived in Oklahoma or you worked for a company in the state, you should check with the Oklahoma State Treasurer Office to see if you have property owed to you. Oklahoma has over $1 Billion in unclaimed property to return!
First, do a search with the Oklahoma State Treasurer by clicking Unclaimed Property Search. You’ll need to enter your last name or a business name. Fields for a first name, middle initial, and city are optional but can help you narrow the results. If you’ve used a nickname or your name is frequently misspelled, try searching those variations as well. Other tips for your search can be found here.
If you determine funds are owed to you, you will need to file a claim to receive your funds.
Once you file a claim, you can click here to check its status.
Oklahoma notes that the service is always free on their website and there is no time limit to claiming your property.
