If you currently live in Florida, have lived in Florida or have worked for a company in Florida, you should check with the Florida Chief Financial Officer to see if you have funds owed to you.
First, visit Florida’s Treasure Hunt by clicking Unclaimed Property Search below. There, you can conduct your search to see if you are owed any funds by the state of Florida.
Enter your last name or business name to get started. You will want to search for any married names or nicknames as well. You can also include your middle name, city or zip code to narrow down your search. Next, review the results to determine if any of the returned names are you.
Should you determine that there are funds owed to you, you will now need to file a claim to receive your funds.
In Florida, there is no statute of limitations as to when you can claim your unclaimed property. Any account owner or their heir can claim property indefinitely free of charge.
