If you live in Virginia or previously worked or lived in Virginia, you may have property owed to you. You can easily check with the Virginia Treasury to see if there are funds for you. The State of Virginia has already returned more than $1 Billion!

Next, you’ll enter your last name or business name to start your search. You can also add your city or zip code to narrow down the search results. If you have a property ID include that as well. Next, review the results to determine if any of the returned names are you.
Should you find that there are funds owed to you, you will now need to file a claim with the Virginia Treasury to receive your funds. You can find step-by-step instructions for filing a claim here.
